Hiking Tours

Three-Hour Waterfall & Rainforest:
On the wild side of West Maui tour a wilderness rain forest valley of small pools and waterfalls. Hike one mile (round trip) to three pools and waterfalls from 8 to 20 feet high. It's a fun spot to play, a beautiful place visit. Swimming is optional, but it's terrific fun to "shower" under a 20-foot falls or "water slide" through a tunnel of falls to the pool below. For the adventuresome (and even the not-so-fit), climb down the roots of a huge banyan tree to a magical area where you stand at the tippy-top of a 35-foot falls. From that overlook you see nothing but rain forest canopy down the valley to the ocean far away. Takes your breath away.

Half-Day Waterfalls and Rainforest Hike:
Our most popular hiking tour. Great waterfalls, big, clear swimming pools, terrific bamboo and tropical rainforests, fresh-water streams. Everyone likes to shower under a Hawaiian waterfall. Choice of two different valleys for this trip.

Full-Day Waterfalls and Rainforest Hike:
"This is it!" one Manhattan lawyer screamed when he first laid eyes on this valley. Laurence Rockerfeller must have felt the same way when he bought the land, then donated it to the national parks. It's Hawai`i of your dreams. Truly. Great hiking and swimming (optional). Unbelievable waterfalls, pools and streams.

Haleakala Crater Four Miles:
We'd never visit Maui without experiencing the Crater. It's where our guides go for inspiration. A great amphitheater of silence and expansiveness. A place of beauty that always evokes awe. The four-mile trip is a good Crater sampler -- you hike through three very different environments.
