Experience Hawaiian cultural activities beginning in the sparkling morning light along the shores of historic Lahaina with "Aina Kakahiaka", our Hawaiian style breakfast. Afterwards, join us for our inter-active cultural encounter or kulana. Each kulana will give you the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of some of the important components of Hawaiian culture. Alupua'a - traditional land divisions which allowed Hawaiians to use everything from the mountains to the sea. Pound poi - the Hawaiian food staple, and learn the traditional "throw net" style of fishing.

Hula - learn about traditional Hula implements and the fundamentals of this ancient art form which epitomizes Hawaiian culture.
Warfare - Hawaiian battles were very calculated affairs. See traditional weapons, understand the nature of Hawaiian warfare and learn the art of spear throwing.
Talk Story - Each week we invite cultural practitioners to join us - their expertise may range from weaving or lei making to playing ukulele. Stop by with your questions of just for a chat with our special guests.
